Subject: [Tweeters] pipits as yard birds

I was standing out on our deck hoping to see some interesting warbler or sparrow activity in my yard this morning when I was rewarded by a flock of 10 pipits flying overhead. That's one bird I didn't expect to ever add to my yard list since I'm surrounded by mixed second or third growth forest. I'm up to 72 species in three years here.
