Hi Tweets,

The parrots (Mitred Conures) used to show up in Maple Leaf all the time. They
would feed on Douglas Fir cones and I would also see them on sunflower plants
in people's yards. As Bryan mentioned, the flock used to be very large but I
haven't seen as many lately. I remember many years ago (maybe 8-10?) when the
flock was about 12 strong they all perched on the telephone wires in our front
yard for a few minutes. What a sight!
