Hi All,

The Avocet that Bill Clemons saw yesterday was not seen today. Neither were
the Ruffs and the Sharp-tailed Sandpiper. There were several Pectoral
Sandpipers and also a Golden Plover seen. It's the Golden Plover that we
need help with. There are several that feel that this is the American
Golden Plover and also a couple who feel that it is the Pacific Golden
Plover. I have several pictures that were taken at quite a distance, so not
the best quality, but if you could give me your opinion on the species it
would be appreciated by several of us volunteers and staff. You can see the
pictures at

http://lumiscapephotography.smugmug.com/gallery/1105634/2/96809341. There
are a couple of other pictures at this site also. Enlarge the pictures to
the max for best viewing.

Thanks,

Roger Windemuth
