I remember some years ago when I lived near Northgate I opened my drapes
one morning to see no birds at all, very strange, my front yard was
usually very busy. Finally a lone House Finch flew in folowed
immediately by a Sharpie. The Sharpie missed the finch and ended up on
the lawn and I swear he was glaring at me, blaming me for his missing
the finch. I'm pretty sure he was an immature male, he hung around for
a week or so.
