Hi Tweeters,

I am leading a trip to the coast this Saturday for
Rainier Audubon Society. There is a space if anyone
is interesting in joining us. Besides Bottle Beach and
Tokeland we will go through Westport, Midway Beach and
probably John's River and Brady Loop/Foster Road.

I went on the WOS trip last Saturday and we saw a lot
of wonderful species, check out their write up posted
that evening (September 16th).

I am hoping the Pacific Golden Plovers will still be
at Bottle Beach. We also saw the Snowy Plovers, and
Lapland Longspurs at Midway. Patrick had the quote of
the day here remarking that it might be a little early
but he wouldn't be surprised if we saw Lapland
Longspurs. Within minutes we saw our first one!
Other highlights among many were the White-tailed Kite
and Sandhill Cranes at the Brady Loop/Foster Road
area.

I will send on details if you are interested, trip
starts at 6:30 in Fife and we probably will not be
back until fairly late.
