Subject: [Tweeters] A parade of Steller's Jays

I was sitting at the computer noonish today when I saw a small flock of
birds approaching from the vicinity of the Ship Canal to the South.
Turns out it was sixteen STELLER'S JAYS. They flew at window level
between the two houses and into the trees to the north across the
street. By the time I grabbed my binoculars and got out front they were
gone. I also have a Juv. ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD hanging around the last two
days. I also think I had a small flock (20?) of PINE SISKINS in the
plum tree but they were two quick for me to be sure.
It's really quiet around here most days, it does seem a bit strange. Oh
and thanks to Dennis for the Booby link. Really a good page, well
written and very informative.
