for those of you who didn't make it to entiat today, please kick yourselves
sturdily...

the day was nigh on perfect, and the company was wonderful. making things
even better was the steady stream of raptors flying the ridgeline today...
when i left, the record for captures at the entiat site for one day was in
jeopardy of being broken (22), and mid-afternoon the count for the "season"
was 200 and climbing...

among the highlights for me were numerous golden eagles (i think the last
count was seven or eight)... there was also a fly-through of what was
believed to be a northern goshawk as well... ravens, townsends solitaires,
mountain chickadees, clark's nutcrackers, and numerous other passerines
filled out the day...

with luck, by this time tomorrow evening, i will have a few shots on the
website to enjoy (coopers and sharpies up-close)...

thank you, mr anderson, for the great day...
