I wish I wouldn't keep deleting messages that I want to see again.

Anyway, I'm getting the feeling that what I thought were very small grasshoppers on the high ridges in September are really crickets.

It's also interesting that Slaty-headed Fox Sparrows and Chipping Sparrows are still up there this late. I mean, there's new snow up there already, even if thin.

I like reading those high-county postings.
