Subject: [Tweeters] Barred Owl at Lincoln Park, West Seattle

Yesterday, Sunday morning, I finally saw one of Lincoln Park's Barred Owl. It was pointed out to me by a lady walking her dog. When I got to it, Steller's Jays were mobbing it. Two Red-breasted Sapsuckers were close by in the same tree. The Owl made a nasal peep call, I thought I heard two more calls like this from different parts of the forest.

How would other Tweeters describe this Barred Owl call?

I also counted 20 Harlequin Ducks and 8 Horned Grebes off of Lowman Beach Park, just north of Lincoln Park.
