A few years ago I had occasion to drive to the northern end on Vancouver
Island in early August. I saw many TVs on that trip. They were on the
ground, in the trees, and in the air. I was driving on the east side of
the Island and noted the birds between Kelsey Bay and Port McNeil. This
would be about 215 miles due north or about 330 miles NW of central
Puget Sound. Is that still considered within the northern limits of
their range?
