After that probable Timberline Sparrow sighting in a recent posting from along the Cascade crest, and looking at the Chipping Sparrow section (and map) in Wahl's "Birds of Washington", I think it behooves birders poking around in the high Cascades during future Septembers to look twice at any Chipping Sparrow they see.
