There have been a couple of recent messages regarding BLACK-BACKED
WOODPECKERS at the Elk Heights burn (do I have the correct name?). As this
is a "jinx" bird for me, I'd like to go looking for it, but I don't know
where this burn is located or how to get there.
Could someone give me directions, off the list. If you have any
suggestions as to where in the burn to look for this bird, it would be
appreciated. Thanks.
