Hi Tweets,

Barbara and I birded the Kent Ponds yesterday (Sunday) afternoon, where most of the activity was visible from the "grassy knoll" by 64th Ave South. The best find was an American Bittern. Looking west- northwest from the knoll across the water the bittern was on a point of land on the north side about 2/3 of the way across.

Among the usual suspects we saw our first Cliff Swallow of the season among the numerous Violet-greens, two male Rufous Hummingbirds, several Savannah Sparrows, and two sharp-looking male Yellow-rumped (Myrtle) Warblers.

Good birding!
