Hello Tweets,

Had my first TUVU (Turkey Vulture) of the spring this afternoon. I was driving from North Bend to Snoqualmie and saw a large dark bird feeding in a cow pasture. Pulled over to get a better look and flushed it. It's been speculated that TUVUs breed on Mt. Si. I generally see them on my commute from now until fall, in groups of two to six, but seldom get to see them on the ground. It sure puts a punctuation on spring! when you see that first bird of the year.

Thank you!
