Hello all,

Here is a link to the American Bird Conservancy website, which just
posted the apparently first video even obtained of the display
activities of the Marvelous Spatulatail, probably the most exotic
hummingbird in the world and certainly a rival of the Birds of
Paradise for elaborate displays! The species is endemic to the upper
reaches of the Rio Maranon drainage in northern Peru. The link takes
you to the group's website (so you can see what great work they do --
definitely a group worthy of your support!). There are links to the
video sequence and to a set of still photos. So check it out!
