Subject: [Tweeters] Adams County spring returns

I was gone for a week and know there were several birding trips made to the Othello area over the last two weekends. I would like updates for species that I recorded today as first for the year for Adams County in case there are earlier dates than today:

Black-necked Stilt
Caspian Tern
Great Egret
Pine Siskin (at my feeder)

I also had 20+ male Tricolored Blackbirds at the Para Ponds feedlot location. They were suspiciously trading locations across the road into a cattail marsh. Knowing the Wilson Creek birds have returned to some or a great extent, we might get local nesting this year. It has long been suspected but never verified.
