A trip round the park this morning gave me my first common yellowthroat
of the year, in the scrub near the lake edge along the main boardwalk -
a beautiful male in full glorious colour. I also had an osprey soaring
over the bay for the first time this year, my first sighting of a
red-breasted sapsucker for this park, and a nice look at a Hutton's
vireo.
