Greetings All,

I was "on station" at the Point-No-Point lighthouse this morning at 0800. A severe case of temperary flu had kept me away from work for the morning. I scanned all by my lonesome until about 0900 when Mike Alderman of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho showed up to help. We were soon joined by 3 more birders, and with that much optics, we finally succeeded! But it was way over by the Hansville Store, so we all jumped in our cars and drove (at 20 mph) over to the store were there were some tense moments (about 15 minutes worth) before it popped up right in front of us! We too got short glimpses as it was actively feeding, but great looks nonetheless!! By then my flu was clearing up, so it was "back to the office".
