Wednesday I mentioned how great it was seeing four species of Swallows
flying around together at the Ridgefield NWR. Well, add one more to that
list. I am now seeing five species all together soaring and swooping and
having a great time. They are the Cliff, Barn, Tree, Violet-green, and N.
Rough-winged. The Purple Martins are on the Batchelor Island part of the
refuge, so perhaps before too long they will join the rest.
