here are some species seen on the way to the store and back along the
north end of lummi island


along north nugent rd

2 bald eagle
2 bonaparte's gulls in the small cove just south of the ferry dock.


these next birds were seen along legoe bay rd

1 belted kingfisher
2 hooded mergansers - a male and female in the duck muck at the
intersection of legoe bay road and tuttle ln
32 northwestern crows on the shore at legoe bay and then flying over
rosario strait toward orcas in a very stiff wind, down close to the
water.
abundant american robins
1 mew gull
a dozen glaucous winged gulls
6 harlequins
2 common goldeneye
1 bufflehead
5 brant's cormorants
2 double crested cormorants


these were seen at pt migley (the northern end of the island

5 redbreasted mergansers
2 horned grebes
