This morning just before 8:00 there was a Townsend's Solitaire in the main
part of the park that perched on several of the trees and one of the
benches. Unfortunately during the minute in which I ran to get MaryFrances
it disappeared and I wasn't able to relocate it. This is the second record
for the park after the first was seen last May. Other birds this morning
included a few Cliff Swallows, a Caspian Tern, nice views of a singing
Common Yellowthroat, and both Audubon's and Myrtle Yellow-rumped Warblers.

On Sunday there was a male Barrow's Goldeneye in the bay.
