Bob, and Tweets,
I do not think I have ever seen a gull pointing its
wings that far above its head, nearly vertical. They
do not seen to flap their wings like that. And these
birds are really barrel-chested for a gull. Relative
to the pictures of the Ivory Gull, these have very
rounded wing-tips as well.
Also I do not see the black beak, these appear to be
lighter, or maybe even yellow-ish, or Pink-ish.

The number of web-sites about releasing white doves at
weddings and funerals is pretty crazy! Lots of stock
photographs as well.
