Hi Tweets,

Barbara and I found some clearing skies in the Kent Valley yesterday and this (Wednesday) morning. The most interesting place was S 204th St below the St Patricks Cemetery on Orillia Rd. Some shorebirds have arrived: today there were Killdeer (adults with a tiny juvenile) Greater Yellowlegs, Dunlin, and Wilson's Snipe. The passerines included a female Mountain Bluebird perching on fences and small trees on both sides of 204th, and a male Common Yellowthroat in the willows midway along the north side of the road. There were also Savannah Sparrows and American Goldfinches, the latter mostly near the farmhouse at the east end of S 204th St.

Good birding!
