This morning on our walk to Eagle Landing Park in Burien, we saw a WESTERN SCREECH OWL on SW 21st Ave at the top of the ravine at about SW 156th. He was in a small holly tree and he stayed put for about five minutes while he "barked" at the mob of birds that harassed him before he flew down into the ravine. It's been at least eight years since we last saw a Western Screech Owl in Burien - also at this ravine!
