There were still 2 to 3 immature Rough-legged Hawks on the south slope of
Rattlesnake Mountain in Benton county (north of Prosser) yesterday. It is
fairly routine to find them there through April and we have one mid-May
record. Despite the wind we were able to find most of the sage birds also.

Had quite a few lingering Rough-legged Hawks around Klickitat Co. today. On
Glade road going from Mabton to Bickleton I had 2 Rough-legged Hawk, 1 adult
and 1 immature. On East rd SE of Bickleton I had an adult Rough-legged Hawk
and another adult just north of Hwy. 14 near Roosevelt. Its getting quite
late for Rough-legged Hawks down here, but notable with several still
passing through.
