Tweets,
I checked the Goodrich Rd ponds Wednesday morning. Continuing are the
alternate plumage PACIFIC GOLDEN PLOVER (large pond at parking lot),
SOLITARY SANDPIPER and LESSER YELLOWLEGS (far left-hand pond past the slough
bridge). Also present in the fields were skads of Savannah Sparrows and good
numbers of Am. Pipits--some were singing, a "first" for me. Goodrich Rd is
located just south of the Thurston-Lewis Co. line, west off Old Hwy 99
(accessed via I-5 exit 88 and south from the stoplight west of the
overpass).
Good birding!
