Hello, Tweeters,

The male Common Grackle found by Steve Mlodinow and Brad Waggoner at
Dungeness on 4/22 was still there this evening, 4/25. I first found
it walking in the road with Brewer's Blackbirds near the intersection
of Marine Drive and Oysterhouse Road (which is the road to Dungeness
Landing Park, the first public access to Dungeness Bay west of the
Dungeness River mouth). It then flew up onto the lawn of the first
house east of that intersection, 536 Twin View Drive, and
nonchalantly strolled through the grass with the blackbirds.

The poor grackle made a pass at a female Brewer's, strutting up to
her and gave her a little cluck, but she'd have none of it.
