Tweets,

A pair of very smartly attired birder friends :-) and I took a stroll
the Fill mid-morning on Sunday & located a single, similarly
well-dressed Western Kingbird flying about the "upland meadow" area,
between the "tubed-trees" field and weather station thingy adjacent
to the CUH. A partial list of other sightings (in random order)
included:

Common Yellowthroat, several singing
a handful of Least & Western Sandpipers, a lone, lame-footed
Semi-palm Plover, a few pairs of striking Cinnamon Teal, Green-winged
Teal, etc (though no Blue-wings)
Anna's Hummingbird
Downy Woodpecker
a single male Merlin, chasing the abundant swallows high over the
student parking lots on the W edge of the Fill

Hopefully, a few others will get to see the kingbird, always a treat
in the Seattle metro area...

Mark
