Greetings Tweeters,

What is the latest experience with air travel and
optics, specifically binoculars? I will be flying out
Seatec this week (domestic only, but with change of
planes) and prefer to carry on my binoculars rather
than dig out old style hard-material, heavy luggage
that would give more protection than my usual cloth
bag.

Barn Swallows have returned to my place this week, to
roost and nest in the barn again this year I hope;
Violet Green Swallows have been around a couple of
weeks; they roost and nest in the surrounding woods,of
course, but forage around the barn and garden, often
perching on the barn roof for wonderful viewing by me
:-)! And yesterday I saw a garter snake for the first
time this spring...all bodes well for the vegetable
garden.

Thanks.
Judy
