I have a pair of scrubs near my father-in-law's house in E Bremerton. They
have been in the same location each of the past three years and last year I
observed them feeding a young though I have not been able to locate the
nest. I also observed another scrub not far from the east end of the
Manette Bridge in Bremerton. I suspect they are here to stay.

Dear Tweets,

For those of you interested in tracking the expansion of Western scrub jay
in the area, for info last evening I had one turn up in my yard in the
Sheridan Terrace area of Lake Forest Park (approx. 10 blocks north of the
Seattle city limits).
