I just returned from Ellensburg to my house a few miles south of Olympia at
noon on this sunny Sunday. Amongst a flock of about seven brewers
blackbirds was a male yellow-headed blackbird that took me by surprise. I'd
more expect to see that near Ellensburg. The Olympia yellow-headed
blackbird was eating grain from a goosefeeder on the side of my barn.
