A great day was had at Damen Pt, Ocean Shores.

I do not know my shore birds but know a plover when I see it. Many Plovers and shorebirds at Damen Pt today. Seven brown pelicans and a Humpback Whale (my first) feeding. We are burned but thrilled to have been able to watch it feed for over an hour right off shore.
