Hey Tweets!
I found myself with a little time this afternoon, so I
went down to the Boeing Ponds in Kent.
VERY Slow, but I did find 3 Pectoral Sandpipers on the
main Boeing Pond.
Then I ran around the corner to the construction ponds
on 212th. The main pond was mostly dry and nothing
was to be seen. But the smaller pond just to the west
had a flock of Canada Geese, and one Immature Brant
goose! Seemed VERY out-of-place! All the geese were
molting heavily, and the Brant was pretty scruffy.
But the neck band was visible, and it was tiny next to
the Canada Geese.
The Kent valley sure draws some strange visitors!
