Inspired by Patrick Sullivan's posting of Pacific Golden-Plovers at Oyhut Game Reserve in Ocean Shores a couple of days ago, I headed there this morning. I ran into Devin and Justin Boswell, students from Louisiana State University, who joined me in the search. We found 7 Pacific Golden-Plovers in the same location as the Sullivans found them - in Oyhut behind the Ocean Shores STP. Also present were Long and Short-billed Dowitchers, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, Western Sandpipers, Least Sandpipers, and Red-Necked Phalaropes.
