In my endeavour to keep shooting my camera using my hands, I recently bought the, Nikon SLR Hand Strap, its only problem is the tightening strap comes loose after awhile of shooting, I then came across the Leather Camera Grip/Hand Strap for DSLR Cameras on eBay and put both of them on each side of my camera, and what a difference in stability. I am using a Nikon D70s with a Nikkor 70-200mm vr lens. Just shot a number of pictures on different zoom levels and it was quite a difference from earlier pictures. I hope this tidbit helps other photographers who don't want to give in to using a tripod. I also use the tripod mount on the lens for stability.
