Friday evening at the inner harbor, near the Damon Point parking area, I
found 10 Whimbrel and 6 Marbled Godwits.

Yesterday on the North Jetty I had 6 Black Turnstones, 2 Wandering TattlerS,
12 Surfbirds, and a couple of Ruddy Turnstones. The Wandering Tattlers were
both alternate plumage birds, the Turnstones and Surfbirds were a mix of
alternate plumage and juveniles. It was a very low tide with light wave
action, so I was able to make it all the way out to the tip of the jetty.

Saturday afternoon at Oyhut Wildlife area I had 4 Red-necked Phalaropes, 6
Greater Yellowlegs and about 20 Lesser Yellowlegs. There were also Western
Sandpipers roosting during high tide. There were several Short-billed
Dowitchers and at least one Long-billed Dowitcher towards the back of the
ponds. I did not locate any Pacific Golden Plovers.

Good Birding,
Tim
