Hi Tweeters,

Thanks Bob for bringing the topic back up. At the UW
the bushtits would also tend to go the same spot every
year to nest which in one case was not a great idea
because the crows would attack and destroy that
particular nest every year for three years running.
It made me wonder how long these tiny birds live and
also to wonder what drives them to choose the same
spot repeatedly?
