Tweeters: I'm happy to report a new bird species has been seen in Douglas
County: Bewick's Wren. It was first seen by Richard Hendrick on Aug. 10th.
Today, Aug. 16th, I was able to see both birds, one juvenile and one adult.
They were at Shrable Corner, on Bridgeport Bar. Interestingly, on Aug. 9th
another couple saw a Bewick's Wren across the Columbia River where the
Okanogan River comes in!

If someone knows of a previous sighting, please let me know. Meredith
Spencer, Bridgeport, Wash.
