Hello,
It is the seed alfalfa harvest and after many months of cover under dense
alfalfa the rodents are exposed and every Swainsons in the Walla Walla
Valley knows where to go. By the first of Sept. it is not uncommon to see
35-40 hawks setting in fields waiting for mice and big grasshoppers to move
around in the alfalfa fields. You should come see it for youe self.
