Hi Tweeters,

I was not able to attend the Kent Ponds census
yesterday and it ended up being cancelled, to be held
next Sunday on the 26th.

Roger Orness sent out a notice that the Red-shouldered
Hawk was seen on the Osprey tower in the morning
yesterday before the census was cancelled. This spot
could be an early in the day preening spot for this
hawk for those of you trying to locate this elusive
bird. Last winter I think it was in hiding far more
than out of hiding. Luck is necessary.

None of the fledged Northern Harriers were noted in
the brief early morning visit.
