Hello, tweets.

A colleague in BC, Rob Cannings, has asked me about the status of the
European mantis, Mantis religiosa, in Washington. This introduced
species is our only large mantis. I've seen a few, but I'm curious to
find out how commonly others have seen them, either east or west of
the Cascades, and I know I can't find a better place to ask than
tweeters, with many people who get out in the field a lot more than I
