Hiya tweets,

Short & sweet, gotta split. Just got back from the Union Bay Natural Area. Was pretty quiet, only got 37 species. Best birds were a Solitary Sandpiper at the Central Pond and then a few minutes later a Northern Harrier made a circle around the same pond. Also saw the first Ring-necked Duck and Lesser Scaups in a couple months as migration is starting to kick in. First American Coots returned a couple weeks ago - now there are a couple dozen out in the lily pads. Lots of Cinnamon Teal and a scattered few Green- and Blue-winged Teal too. Cheers!
