I see the blue that Dave Templeton sees and I'm wondering about Lazuli Bunting. This year seemed to qualify as an irruption year for Lazuli Buntings (probably not something that generally occurs with Lazuli Buntings but there sure were lots of them). The beak looks about right.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my ID help post. The consensus was the bird is a common yellowthroat. I appreciate the input very much.

I have one more and it might be a little tougher because the bird is molting. It was taken in the same general area as the yellowthroat. The bird was the size and shape of a chickadee. Maybe a tad larger.
