Tweeter traffic developed in recent days re Eastern Kingbirds on Spencer Island, so I add the following:

I found two E. Kingbirds at (one on power or phone wire) and in bushes just north of 12th St. NE on Smith Island, August 6--while seeking access to Spencer Island and being stymied by fierce new postings. I thought it strange to see E. Kingbirds in coastal Washington and saw that it was off Sibley's distributional map. Being relatively new to the state, I was waiting to consult some local veteran birder before cluttering Tweeters with a report.
