Hi,
I have had family the past couple of weeks, so I am late getting this out. Tuesday, August 14, around 11:30 AM, we spotted two Swainson Hawks between Sunrise Point, and Sunrise itself. It has been a while since we have been up there, but I think I have the names right, on the location.

This past Thursday my son and I hiked up to Paradise Point (or was is Panorama??) (along Skyline Trail) and about 4 PM we had one Prairie Falcon going after the American Pipits, of which there were nice numbers. We soon joined the cloud cover, and since we ran out of water, we had to head back, rather than wait for the clouds to clear......This was our first time to ever hit this trail, because Sunrise is so much closer, but the view from here were spectacular, and I am definately going back (hopefully) next week. No Ptarmigan however. We were up above quite a few snowfields, I didn't see anything that gave the elevation at some of these points. If someone out there is more experienced with these trails, I would love some tips, as I plan to go back next week, but we will leave very early this time!!!!

Thanks,
