Thanks to the Sullivans for hosting the "proof" photo of the RUFF. This
picture was the best of the three taken and we cleaned up this picture by
cropping to remove the vignetting and zoom in. Like I said yesterday
evening, the photos were poor to say the least, but I've learned that my
little Nikon Coolpix doesn't align well with my older KOWA TSN-4 scope very
well. At least I was able to salvage one photo. Looking at the picture, the
only thing that the photo doesn't show true of the bird is the leg color.
The leg color was a yellowish-green, but much closer to the brighter end of
the range from yellow to green.

Again thanks to the Sullivan's for posting the picture on their site. I
don't have my own site and didn't have time to set one up last night or
today.

Maybe this is only the start of good things to come this fall at Grays
Harbor, along with the numerous Buff-breasted Sandpipers.
