Hi Tweeters,
It was a very good migration night last night over Battle Ground,
Clark County which meant not a good night for sleeping. I was out
"observing" form 12:30am through 6am (and a little sleep in between)
with the following results:
Swainson's Thrush 610
Yellow Warbler 20
White-crowned Sparrow 3
probable Wilson's Warbler 1
probable MacGillivray's Warbler 1
unidentified warbler 68
Western Tanager 1
Caspian Tern 1!!!!!!!!!!
Many of these warblers may end up on Mt. Tabor (immediately south of
me) east of Portland (or eastern edge of Portland) as that seems to be
the warbler hotspot during the day.
