BIRD BANDING DEMOS Free and Open to the Public

Seattle, WA. Seattle Audubon Student Naturalist BirdWatch Service Corps
is hosting bird banding demonstrations free and open to the public!

Come watch live birds be banded (tagged) and learn about a Real Science
Project studying chickadees and other urban species. Discover how you
can help these birds survive in the city, as well as how you can
contribute to the protection and conservation of the environment around
the world!

Bird banding demonstrations will be held monthly on Saturdays beginning
December 15th and from then on, on the fourth Saturday of every month
until April: January 26th, February 23rd, March 22nd, and April 26th.
Demonstrations run from 8:00am-11:00am in all weather at Seward Park at
the Audubon Center on the roundabout. All are also welcome to join us
for a guided Bird Walk at 9:00am to look for banded birds! No
reservations are necessary. Families and children are welcome and
encouraged to attend this fun Saturday morning environmental learning
experience!
