We had our first December sighting of a Trumpeter Swan on our pond this mornng. Since the flooding here on the N.O.P. Lake Aldwell has become very muddy and debris ridden. We are anticipating many more in the next few days since sight feeding is down to nil on the lake. My husband figures the Elwha River won't be fishable until early Feb. That's if we don't get anymore gully washers.
