Hello Tweeters,
I found time today to run up to Stanwoood and look for the Ruff. I found it along Boe Road, in the Stillaguamish River Delta just south of Stanwood. It was in about a half mile from Marine Drive on the right hand side of the road. There is a farm with yellowish barns and fences. The bird was in the western horse paddock, the second one. There is some dirt piled up near the barn, where the Ruff was moving around with some Killdeer. It was moving around when I first got there, but when it settled down in the dirt and snow, it was hard to see. Eventually, it got up again and moved around to the right side of the barn in the taller grass. Thanks to everyone who posted about this bird.
